Based on the actual operation of three laboratory animal facilities in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, the energy saving strategies of HVAC systems for laboratory animal facilities are studied from the aspects of air change per hour and source side heat recovery. The possibility of reasonably reducing the air change rate in the air conditioning system of the laboratory animal facility is analysed, and the energy saving advantages of the heat recovery solution humidity control outdoor air unit in the air conditioning system of the laboratory animal facility are clarified.
